Nolan Hall is renowned for its work in the development and restoration of luxury properties. Here are two examples of our commitment to excellence.
In early 19th century Newfoundland, one of the most active and influential fraternal organizations was the Benevolent Irish Society. In 1826, they established their headquarters in the centre of the St. John’s downtown core. After centuries of use the building fell into a state of disrepair.
In 1999, Nolan Hall began the enormous task of restoring this monument to its original glory and converting it into luxury condominiums - complete with the quality construction and lavish interiors we are known for. It has become a hallmark of restorative excellence in real estate circles throughout the world.
Royalty, leaders and celebrities have enjoyed the luxurious décor of the restored Benevolent Irish Society. Nolan Hall hosted Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones, during their visit to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. On a separate occasion, the building was host to then Prime Minister of Canada, Paul Martin.
Nestled among mature gardens in St. John’s’ coveted historic district stands Place Bonaventure; another excellent example of the coveted expertise of Nolan Hall. In one of St. John’s well-known historic landmarks, Nolan Hall created a collection of the finest condominiums. They are known for their timeless architecture, tailored designs, and inspiring interiors. Place Bonaventure combines the classic beauty of period homes with the form and function required for today's lifestyle.
